New resources for our communities

Our 211 Helpline Center staff is continuously identifying ways in which we can better serve our communities. One new way of providing additional resource information is the development of HelpSheets. HelpSheets provide a brief overview of a designated topic that we commonly receive calls about, as well as the keywords to search in our online database. Available topics include: Bed Bugs, Considering Counseling, Disability Benefits, Fireworks, and How to Help a Loved One in a Mental Health Crisis.

The other addition to our resources is a newly created Connections Calendar which will provide a central intersection of information regarding basic needs events and professional training opportunities in our communities. A place to go for people who need help, and for those working to provide that help.

Since HelpSheets and the Connections Calendar were just recently launched, we look forward to your suggestions as we build out these exciting new features.
