If you have been financially impacted due to COVID-19, the SD CARES Housing Assistance Program (SDCHAP) may provide temporary rental, mortgage, or utility assistance for South Dakota residents who:<\/p><div><ul><li>Owe past-due rent, mortgage, or utilities because they have experienced a particular loss due to COVID-19;<\/li><li>Meet all program criteria; and<\/li><li>Ensure a complete application<\/li><\/ul>Paper checks will be mailed directly to the person whom the bill is owed. SD CARES program funding is not guaranteed.
