The Helpline Center hosted the luncheon at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. A total of <a href=\"\/es\/more-than-80-volunteers-nominated-for-their-volunteer-spirit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">84 nominees<\/a>, all of whom are local volunteers, were recognized at the 36th annual awards luncheon.<\/p>ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder<p>Winners of the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards were announced in the following categories: Youth, Group, Adult (Up and Coming, Shining Bright, Lifetime), and Corporate Humanitarian. In addition, 12 <a href=\"\/es\/volunteer-connections\/sioux-empire-volunteer\/volunteer-of-the-month\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Volunteer of the Month award winners<\/a> were recognized during the program and three local high school students received a <a href=\"\/es\/volunteer-connections\/sioux-empire-volunteer\/spirit-of-volunteerism\/citi-youth-leadership-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Youth Leadership Award scholarship<\/a>.
