New Enrollment Period for Affordable Care Act Health Insurance

On January 28, 2021, President Biden signed an executive order to reopen enrollment for health care coverage on the Affordable Care Act (also known as ACA or Obamacare) website.  
The special enrollment period will start February 15, 2021, and be open until May 15, 2021.  This insurance covers health care, prescriptions, hospitalizations and counseling.  It does not cover routine vision or dental care. 
Costs vary by plan, and what you pay towards your premium will be determined by your income.  The difference between what you pay and the actual cost will be covered through a subsidy.  
You can enroll online at Healthcare.gov starting on February 15, 2021.
