For 15 years, the Helpline Center has been recognizing a Volunteer of the Month in the Black Hills, Brookings, and the Sioux Empire. Agencies and/or individuals are invited to nominate the amazing volunteers that make our community strong. Over 580 area residents, professionals and community leaders joined in the celebration of Sioux Falls area volunteers at the 2017 Spirit of Volunteerism Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
