Giving Tuesday – Purple for Prevention

The Helpline Center is excited to announce Purple for Prevention , a one-day campaign in partnership with the first ever South Dakota statewide Giving Tuesday.  Nearly 400 non-profits across South Dakota are participating in South Dakota Gives on #GivingTuesday, November 27, 2018.  

Purple for Prevention provides us an opportunity to bring a dream to reality and light Falls Park purple during Suicide Prevention week in the fall.  Each evening of lighting at Falls Park carries a cost of $200 so our goal for Giving Tuesday is to raise $1400.  Each gift, no matter the size will help us towards this goal.  

National Suicide Prevention week will take place September 8 – September 14, 2019.  Please consider supporting our cause as we continue to spread a message of hope and healing.
