Recovery Is Possible

Addiction is a complex disease, that can often be difficult for people to comprehend. It is easy to believe that it is something that could never happen to you, those you love or in your community. However, the reality is that it can happen to anyone. More specifically, anyone who takes prescription opioids – even as prescribed – can become addicted to them. In fact, 1 in 4 people who are prescribed opioids struggle with addiction. Fortunately, addiction is treatable, and recovery is possible.
According to research, recovery supports combined with treatment can enhance a person’s recovery. The Helpline Center is available to offer this support through the Opioid Care Coordination program. This program is a free, voluntary, confidential service that supports anyone in recovery or seeking recovery from substance use.
The Opioid Care Coordination program provides telephone support to individuals to connect them with statewide resources. We work with the individual through all stages of their recovery and offer positive, non-judgmental support throughout your entire journey. If you or someone you know is struggling, don’t wait, reach out for help!
